Kaiser was founded in 1945, and made cars in the US until 1955.  After that, automobiles were produced in Argentina into the 1960's.

  • Kaiser purchased the Willow Run plant from Ford.
  • Kaiser merged with Graham-Paige Frazer to form Kaiser-Frazer.
  • Kaiser purchased Willys Motor company in 1953.
  • Kaiser continued to produce the Jeep until 1970, when Jeep was sold to AMC.
