APRIL - Hollister Hills Drive Tour
April 14, 2012
The hills of Hollister, green from recent Spring rains, provided a perfect setting for The Freewheeler's first drive tour of the year.
MAY - Ramshead Museum
May 12, 2012
Perfect weather and a great turnout for a visit to John White's Ramshead Collection and his beautiful river front home … surely something to tell Mumsy about on Mother’s Day!
JULY - Cote d'Obispo (WCM)
July 14, 2012
Personal luxury cars reigned supreme at this year's West Coast Meet. Our event chairs Count (Clint Moore) and Carlo (Peter Escobedo) made sure there was entertainment aplenty. Cocktail parties, Dinner soirees, and a Haute Côte-teur Fashion Show left an impression on all who attended. Thanks to volunteers and stage talent that made this weekend an enjoyable event for everyone… our collective chapeau is off to you all!
AUGUST - Pool Party
August 05, 2012
Clouds along the coast implied a cooler-than-expected day for the 3rd annual BBQ and Pool Party at the hilltop home of Jack Adam and Bill Burks in Emerald Hills. But despite the morning overcast, it was still warm enough to wear shorts and t-shirts! And from Bill’s mouth to god’s ears, no sooner did he say “the sun will be burning this off soon” than the sun began to peak through and clouds to dissipate.
OCTOBER - A Day in the Livermore-Almador Valley
October 14, 2012
Sueko and Dave Gilber hosted a backroads tour of Livermore that included the historic Durant/Star Garage, a historic firesation and the over rolling hills to the Roger and Geoff's home for lunch.
NOVEMBER - Farewell Freewheeler Clubhouse
November 11, 2012
We bid farewell to the Freewheeler Clubhouse which has served as Board Meeting place, a staging area for West Coast Meets, and the perennial automotive sanctuary (“Give me your cars, your wrecks, your unrestored masses yearning to pass smog”).
DECEMBER - Holiday Party
December 02, 2012
What started out with wind and rain soon became a refreshingly bright and crisp December day as Freewheelers gathered at John McCue's stately home in Half Moon Bay for the Annual Holiday Party. The festively bedecked manor welcomed arriving guests with ribbons, wreaths, holly garlands, and of course John’s beautifully decorated tree.
