A VIP Tour of the Cobra Experience in Martinez.The Cobra Experience is a non-profit museum committed to the promotion, conservation, education and preservation of the cars produced by Shelby American. Unique to our museum is the 7.2 surround sound HD film not only about the cars themselves, but about the Ford and Shelby American story. The ultimate goal is to educate you on the unbelievable accomplishments of Ford and Shelby American during the 1960's. They started with nothing and won every major race including Le Mans in the GT class in 1964, and FOUR times in a row over-all from 1966-1969, for a total of FIVE times! It is such a great part of racing history and this legacy must be told!
APRIL - Sacramento Collections Tour

Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 28 and prepare yourself for not one, but two car museum tours in sunny Sacramento! We will meet at 10:00 a.m. at Freewheeler John White’s beautiful Ramshead Collection in Natomas for tire kicking, coffee and donuts, and a tour of John’s beautiful collection. Around noon, we’ll take a leisurely back roads drive over to the California Automobile Museum (C.A.M.) in Sacramento for the Micro Car Exhibit, featuring several Freewheelers’ cars, followed by lunch in the museum. The Freewheelers will also be presenting the C.A.M. with a donation to their “Tinker Time” youth education program!

JUNE - Western Railway Museum

Meet us in Rio Vista Junction at 10:30 AM for some tire kicking and a chance to step back in time, have fun and experience a bit of living history. The event will include a 50-minute route trip ride on a historic interurban streetcar and a behind the scenes tour of the fully functioning car barn that shows what goes into keeping things rolling. After the train ride and barn tour lunch will be served in the 1.5-acre Laflin Park located at the museum.

Join us Saturday, October 19th as we explore the wonders of the North Bay! The Historic Marin Civic Center, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is our kick off for a day that includes Point San Pedro, China Camp, Robin Williams’ old neighborhood, Dominican University on our way to our final destination of The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model in San Rafael.

The Freewheelers annual holiday party held this year at the Veterans Hall in Pleasanton. Weather permitting, bring one of your classics and receive preferential parking right across from the hall! It’ll be fun and festive to assemble a lot full of classics and create our own Merry Little Holiday Concours!
